JICA-FRIENDSHIP Phase2

Thanks to cooperation, FRIENDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP Phase1 has been successfully completed. And we are delighted to announce you that FRIENDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP Phase2 will be embarked.

The orientation to introduce the scholarship application for enrollment in Japanese Fiscal Year 2022 (April 2022-March 2023)​ for 3 years doctoral programs will be hold at 10 am on January 7, 2022.

1. Nationality: Citizens of the Republic of India
2. Academic Background: Graduates or those who are to graduate by May 2022 from master’s programs at IITH in science and technology
3. Health Condition: Mentally and physically sound
4. English Proficiency: Adequate for study in Japan
5. Letter of Acknowledgement by both his/her supervisor at IITH and prospective supervisor ^(Note) in Japan

(Note) Applicants need to confirm with the prospective supervisor that the entrance examination is given online.

(Note) The scholarship is available only for those who apply for and have obtained admission to one of the doctoral programs in science and technology offered by Japanese universities
