Soumya Jana


Professional training focuses on the broad discipline of statistical modeling and processing. Application areas include biomedical signal, image and video analysis, pollution mapping and immersive multimedia processing with emphasis on 3D technology. Past/ongoing experience involves data analytics algorithm/software development in medical disciplines of ophthalmology and cardiology, confocal imaging of biomedical samples, and neighborhood-scale pollution mapping. In addition, in-depth theoretical expertise centers on network information theory and multiterminal source coding.
