Online Application Procedure

Note: Candidates applying to programmes/categories where GATE score is optional may fill GATE ID and score as '0' if valid GATE score is not available.



Step 1

Registration

Our Registration Page will ask you to provide a valid login id, email address and password.

Please note that this email address will be used for all future communications. Ensure you enter an active email ID. We recommend not using office, school, or college email IDs, as they may become inaccessible after you leave the organization.

Your Login ID can be any alphanumeric combination of your choice. If you receive a "Login ID already exists" error, please try a different combination. IITH does not assign it to you.

Step 2

Login in to our System

Please Provide the login id and password which you had chosen at the time of Registration with our system. (When ever you login first time our system will ask you for secret key which you received through the email at the time of registration)

Step 3

Click on the link 'Click here to apply' and Choose the department by clicking on arrow of corresponding department

Step 4

Fill or update your application details by clicking on appropriate arrows. Please note that once you fill or update the information in the appropriate form you need to click on either save/submit button so that your data will be stored in our system.

Please delete the row wherever it is not applicable to you by clicking on the symbol
'' which is at the right end of the row.

Step 5

Application Fee

Application Fee for Regular MTech
Male-GEN/EWS/OBC Rs. 500/
SC/ST/PH/Female Rs. 250/-
Application Fee for Self Sponsored/Online
All Applicants Rs. 500/-

Payment Procedure

We are accepting fee through IITH Payments.

At the time of paying the fee please save the reference document you received from the bank.

  • Save 'Transaction Number' in Payment Reference Number column of Application Fee Page
  • Upload the reference document by clicking the link provided in Checklist page
Click here to pay the fee online Fee has to be paid separately for every program if applying more than one program

Step 6

Submit your application by clicking on 'Submit Application' button. Unless You submit the application by pressing the above button your application will not be considered.

Step 7

After submission you should take printout of your application by clicking on the 'Print Application' button.

Step 8

If you are called for the Written test/Interview you need to carry all your documents, printout of your application , payment reference document and certificates with you.

Step 9

One can apply to several departments. If you want to apply to several departments you need to fill a separate application for each department you want to apply. To fill your application for the department "XYZ" first login to our system and choose "XYZ" in the list of department names. Please note that you need to fill all your details for each department. Please note that you need to pay the application fee separately for each department.

Step 10

You can keep on updating your application,upload the payment reference document and photo till the last date.

Step 11

"Incomplete application will not be accepted".

Those who do not have OBC (NCL) certificate, please fill and upload this declaration.
