SPICMACAY 10th International Convention

The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) is set to host its 10th International Convention at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) from May 26 to June 1, 2025. This week-long cultural festival will bring together over 1,500 students and volunteers from across India and the world to experience Indian classical music, dance, and art. Renowned artists, including Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and Begum Parween Sultana, are slated to perform, offering participants an immersive experience in India’s rich artistic heritage. The convention will also feature interactive sessions with notable personalities such as Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, and Gulzar, along with workshops on traditional crafts, yoga sessions, and screenings of classic cinema. IIT Hyderabad is honored to host this cultural revolution, providing free accommodation and meals to registered school and college students, ensuring accessibility to this transformative experience
