PhD student Sreya Majumdar, of Liberal Arts, has been awarded the Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship (2020-21) by the United States India Educational Foundation (USIEF) to study midwifery and its history, and modern trajectory in the United States at the University of Texas, Austin for a period of nine months.
