Mr. Sandal Kotawala, MTech Ophthalmic Engineering Student’s Start-up 'Alfaleus' Selected for 2024 MedTech Innovator APAC Accelerator

We are proud to announce that Mr. Sandal Kotawala, an MTech student in Ophthalmic Engineering, has been selected for the prestigious 2024 MedTech Innovator APAC accelerator through his startup, Alfaleus. This recognition places him among the top medTech innovators in the Asia Pacific region.

MedTech Innovator (MTI), based in Los Angeles, is the world’s largest life sciences startup accelerator. Out of numerous applicants, only 20 startups were chosen from across the Asia Pacific, with just 4 hailing from India. This accelerator provides unparalleled opportunities for startups to grow, offering support and mentorship from global industry leaders such as Johnson & Johnson, Siemens, and others.
