Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address on Completion of 1st year of Transformative Reforms under ‘National Education Policy,2020’ on 29th July, 2021.

The NEP was prepared after extensive participation of about 2.5 lakh gram panchayats, more than 12,500 local bodies and 675 districts. It aims to inculcate the twin objectives of inclusion and excellence. It also seeks to discourage rote learning and overemphasis on marks or grades. Thus, reorienting our education system towards meeting the needs of the 21st century.
