Armament Research Board (ARMREB) is conducting a workshop in IITH on January 4th titled ‘Research & Development Projects and Opportunities in Armament Field’. The workshop is aimed to spread awareness about the research opportunities. To elaborate more about this and to give brief on ARMREB’s area of interest, two sessions will be conducted by the six panel coordinators, which will include an introduction to their research thrust areas. The workshop will provide opportunities to explore the domains of high energy materials (HEM), armament sensors and electronics (ASE), materials for armament applications (MAA), combustion detonics and shock waves (CDSW), armament design mechanism and ballistics (ADMB), safety and test & evaluation (STE).
