- Description of school: IIT Hyderabad is planning to host ACM India summer school in association with TCS life sciences research. This is an on-campus 10-day summer school on the topic "Algorithmic techniques in computational biology" offered to deserving undergraduate students from across India. From IIT Hyderabad, the school is conducted jointly by the Dept. of Computer Science, Dept. of AI, and Dept. of Biotechnology. The distinctive feature of this school is that the emphasis is on deeper aspects of data structures, algorithms, and data science techniques behind various state-of-the-art methods in computational biology.
