IIT Hyderabad marked its 17th Foundation Day with Prof Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Govt of India, as the Chief Guest and delivered the Foundation Day Lecture on “Way Forward for the Techade: Opportunities & Challenges,” providing valuable insights into the transformative impact.
- On this occasion, IITH and the United Nations University – Centre for Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS) have signed a landmark MoU.
- The celebration included the Foundation Day Awards Ceremony, where faculty, staff, and students were recognised for their outstanding contributions to academics, research, and administration.
- In a significant step toward documenting and preserving biodiversity, IITH has released a book that showcases the bird diversity in and around the campus. Curated by Dr. Rashmi Singh, an Assistant Professor in the Liberal Arts Department, and designed by BDes student Shreevil KJ.
